Job Description: Retail Sales Associate, marketing
and sales director of operations. Will make sales, establish
new contracts along with maintaining customer relations.
Product and customer management, updating the customer
management system with new contacts. Follow market and
customer information and on this basis report on future
buying trends. Managing and updating the client database
and placing orders for merchandise needs. In the advanced
phases, participants will learn about the recruiting and
interviewing process for the new employees.
Employment Dates: Start Date(s): Sep 15 (1 candidate),
Oct 15 (2 participants), Nov 1 (3 participants). Start
dates can be flexible (+/- 1 week). Program Duration:
12-18 months.
Gender
Preference: Females but males will also be considered
(depends on housing arrangements).
Work Schedule: Participants will be having different shifts.
Typical shift will be an 8 hours shift ranging from 10.00
AM to 9.00 PM. Shifts and schedules may change during
holiday seasons.
Average Weekly Hours: 40 hours are guaranteed.
Starting Wage: $8.50/hr. Paid bi-weekly. ?20-30/hr
(average ?25/hr) raise is given every 3 months based on
the quarterly evaluation points.
Overtime: Not likely.
English Skills Required: Advanced
Arrival Information: Participants should arrive
at the OHare - Chicago International Airport (ORD), then
take a bus ride to the designated location (2-3 hours).
Participants will be picked up by the employer representative
and taken to the housing.
Work Uniforms: No Uniform restriction. As a sales
person, participants should dress professionally to look
very presentable to the customers.
Housing: Apartments with 1 or 2 bedroom, kitchen
with fridge, microwave, oven and range, kitchen table
and utensils, living room furniture, inflatable beds in
the bedrooms. Might need to share the bedroom with a roommate,
2 people maximum in a room, same gender but each participant
will have an individual bed. Price: $75/week, rent and
all utilities included in this price. Internet cost is
extra, usually $10/month if the apartment is suited with
the internet connection. NO security deposit is needed.
First rent will be deducted from the first paycheck so
participants dont need to pay any rent upfront. Participants
are responsible for buying their own groceries.
Transportation: No transportation may be needed
as housing is very close to the business locations. They
are all in walking distance although participants may
need to take a bus ride during the winter depending on
the weather conditions.
Other Important Info:
Employer will conduct Skype webcam interviews with candidates.
Employer will not accept couples but can hire group of
friends, only 2 people in a group.
Upon arrival, the employer will train candidates on the
job.
Meals are not included in the weekly housing cost.
Each working location is a college town so there are plenty
of activities for students as well as shopping, dining,
nightlife etc.
